i always wondered if i would see a black president and well here we are. i have been sharing this with the older of the two kids i nanny and it’s been a great to ‘dumb it down’ as it were and explain race relations and the electoral college to a three year old…a three year old who actually kind of gets it!

i can safely say that i was proud of my country last night…
